The Hunchback of Notre Dame is an animated Disney movie that is set in medieval France. It tells the story of Quasimodo (Tim Hulce), and his reluctant caretaker Frolo (Tony Jay), and how one day Quasi leaves the bell tower of Notre Dame Church to go to a festival, the Festival of Fools. There, he meet the gypsy Esmerelda (Demi Moore) and her pet goat, and falls in love with her. But, since he is so ugly, he feels that she is too good for him. The captain of the guard, Phoebus (Kevin Kline) has just returned from war, and he has his eye on Esmerelda as well. Quasimodo's best friends, the gargoyles, give him funny advice.
