Told completely from the horse’ point of view, the only dialog comes from a few minor human characters. The story begins with Spirit’s birth and childhood. Spirit lives up to his name, always getting into trouble and trying new things. As an adult, he becomes the leader of the wild mustangs and protects them from threats. One day, Spirit’s curiosity get the better of him and he decided to investigate a human camp. This leads to his capture and the beginning of an amazing adventure where he eventually befriends a native American boy and even causes a train wreck. |
