Book database

I have a complex, ambitious plan to catalog my books (and books I know something about) in a giant database that you'll be able to browse by title, author, genre, tags etc.

Sadly, this database does not yet exist. You can find *some* data about *some* books on my old website. I think there are about 800 books scanned and listed; I imagine that my husband and I own at least four times as many.

There are a couple of book database thingies out there (see LibraryThing and Internet Book List, for example), but their data comes from the contributions of users, whereas you will *not* be able to contribute to my site. I plan for my website to work more like Fantastic Fiction.
